One of the many neat things about a NightScapes star mural is that 
you can surprise someone with it. I'm a newlywed, and had one applied 
to our bedroom ceiling during a workday. I had everything planned for 
that evening - special music, cricket noises in the background, etc. 
When my husband opened his eyes at just the right moment and saw all 
the stars, he was totally blown away. He said he never could have 
imagined such a surprise. We're thrilled, and look forward to 
enjoying our star mural for years to come.

“It makes bedtime at Grandma and Grandpa’s house something special.”
My husband turned 50 this year and I wanted to do something different for
him - we have a large bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and I arranged to have a
portal over our bed done with NightScapes - it is beautiful.  My husband
was quite surprised.  It makes for a nice atmosphere when we are just lying
in bed talking - it's just like lying under the stars on a blanket (just a
whole lot more comfortable).

Additionally, we have 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 2 to 9 years old -
two or more of them stay over at our house quite often - we had NightScapes
done in the spare room where they sleep when they stay with us.
They enjoy counting stars - looking for the shooting stars - and have asked
many of our friends and family to come back and see the stars - they love
them.  It makes bedtime at Grandma and Grandpa's house something special.

“Our own star show at the flip of a switch!”

When our bedroom lights were turned off, the entire ceiling became a beautiful canopy of stars directly over our bed. It was like looking up at a magnificent panorama of actual stars, only in the privacy of our bedroom.

Each hand-painted star blended into realistic groupings, replicating the actual outdoor star patterns. The stars appeared to twinkle and pulsate in a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that lasted for hours. When the lights were turned on, or in daylight, the stars disappeared from view – our own star show at the flip of a switch!

We enjoy not only our master bedroom NightScapes spectacular, but now have additional bedroom and bathroom star murals for others to experience. Our home has taken on an exciting new element, providing hours of calming relaxation.

"It was such a wonderful way to melt the day's stresses away..."

When I was visiting my parents in the States, I had the opportunity of sleeping under the stars in their guest bedroom and also of taking a bath under a star-lit expanse!   When I turned out the lights, it was as if the ceiling had disappeared and I was left staring up at the breath-taking night sky.  It was such a wonderful way to melt the day's stresses away and relax under a peaceful scene of twinkling stars. The beautiful murals had such a positive effect on my state of mind and induced a very deep and tranquil sleep.
